I believe

The Choice To Be Stronger

This man was an alcholic and it took health problems for him to stop and realize that this could hurt him or possibly kill him.  He changed his life around to be a better role model for his young daughter and other family members; which was a great thing to do.Unfortunatly, he lost a niece to drinking.  He wanted to drink his grief away but he stayed strong and loyal and find other ways to cope.  drinking is a very easy to do when you have problems but I think the strong ones find otger was like this man. I also believe in this qoute “What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger.”

 A Dog’s Life

I think this is a very true story. I also have a dog and I think it has taught me to be responsible and care for others as well.  I think that many people do go through life doing the same thing everyday, going to work, staying late for work, and eating dinner then going to bed to do it all over again.  I agree that having a dog has taught you to live because a dog never does the same thing everyday and they do what the want without worrying about the next day.

 The Power to Forget

This is a very sad story and would hate for it to happen to anyone.  But in some cases I do believe in forgetting what has happened but on the other hand I dont believe in forgetting what has happened.  I think that the hard times, you or your family goes through makes you a stronger person.  I don't think you can completly forget an event that has happened in your life so you need to embrace it and take it for what it's worth.

Earrings

Sophomore summer my friend and I were talking about getting our ears double pierced for most of the summer.  My mom said she would let me but now the problem was when I would be able to.  I was playing sports all summer and never had a break. So one weekend I just went and got them pierced.  I was nervous because i had forgotten the feeling of a needle gun going through my ear. To make it worse the lady who was doing it was wearing all black, had a crazy hair style, and tattos and piercings.  I didn't trust her at all but I let her continue the process of washing my ear off, marking were I want the piercing, and then finally piercing my ear.  It quickly stung but faded as we payed and walked out of the store.  New earrings are not suppose to be taken out for 2 or 3 weeks.  So when I had a college showcase tournament the next weekend, I found the smallest earrings i had switched them out and wore them through 8 games.  Never was I caught by the officials or by my coach.

Rock or Unicorn

When I lived in my old house, my yard had a big rock along the driveway.  my brother and I used to play outside a lot and one of the things we did was climb on the rock, stand on it and a lot of crazy other things.   but one day it had been raining earlier in the day and everything was somewhat wet.  being i kid it didn't even cross my mind the rock was still wet and slippery.  so i climbed up the rock like always and stood up, while my brother tried to throw the football at me.  i got it, but i fell off the top of the rock and on to the soft cushioned grass luckily.  i wasn't hurt and continued to play on the rock.

Fireplace or pole

When the seasons transition into winter and snow begins to fall and cover the ground with a layer of white, my  family and I tend to turn on the fireplace at any chance we get.   Winter is our least favorite season and to help prevent being cold my brother and I always do our homework in the den were the fireplace is or sit right in front of the fireplace until the heat on our back is too hot.  We also eat our dinner in the den just so we can feel the warmth from the fire.  It's a good way for the family be together and be cozy around the fire.

Chair

When I was in Middle school my friends and I used to always lean our chairs back against desks or walls or anything that would support us.  Especially in history class we would make a compeition of it.  We would see who could lean back the furthest or if we could balance without holding on to anything.  I was considered to be one of the few who were lucky and never fell.  Kids every other day were falling and get yelled at by the teacher.
But one day in History I was leaning back in my chair awfully far.  Today was the day I lost my luck. My chair slide foward and my chair went down.  While going down my head hit the wall.  I was more embrassed then in pain because all the students were laughing as well as the hot teacher.  Since then I have not leaned back as far and as much.
