Helen Keller's Narrative

After reading Helen Keller's Narrative I have gained a lot of insight and respect toward hers.  I did not know how hard it was to learn a simple word like doll or hat or even realize that everything around you has a name.  I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for the teacher to try a teacher her basic words.  I think that it is very inspiring that Helen Keller still has the desire to learn even though she has disadvantages.
